The beginnings

Michał Karski and Tomasz Siemek, together with business partners, set up an education centre specialising in IT training. From day one, our focus is on quality, expertise and long-term client relationships.

Microsoft authorisation

We become an authorised Microsoft training centre. This is the start of a long collaboration with Microsoft and the foundation of our expertise in Microsoft technologies.

Becoming a limited liability company

We register the business as Systems Edukacja Sp. z o.o. (National Court Register, KRS 0000276018). The formal company structure lets us scale our operations and move into new areas.

A new name and recognition as the largest training centre

We change our name to ABC Data Centrum Edukacyjne. In the same year, we are recognised as the largest Microsoft training centre in Central and Eastern Europe.

A strategic investor and the founding of LLPA

ACTION S.A., a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, becomes a shareholder, and we change our name to ACTION Centrum Edukacyjne. Its financial and organisational backing lets us broaden our offering and extend our reach.

In the same year, we become one of the founding members of the Leading Learning Partners Association (LLPA). Michał Karski, CloudTeam’s principal shareholder and Vice-President of the Management Board, serves on the LLPA board for 10 years and actively shapes global collaboration between Microsoft learning partners.

AWS authorisation

We become the first company in Poland to be granted AWS authorised training centre status, and we hold it for years. Our expertise now extends to the Amazon Web Services cloud platform.

A new shareholder and a new strategy

A.P.N. Promise S.A. joins the company as a shareholder. We rebrand as CloudTeam and change our strategy to focus on three pillars: cloud transformation, artificial intelligence and innovative education platforms.

Microsoft Global Partner of the Year

As a member of the LLPA, we win the 2020 Microsoft Global Partner of the Year award in the Learning category.

Founding the AI Professional Institute

We found the AI Professional Institute, our own certification body for AI skills. From the outset, we are building it as a global brand: one standard for AI learning paths, exams and certificates, the same in every country, designed for employers and universities worldwide. The Institute draws on our two decades of experience in IT certification and on our own learning and exam platforms.

Consolidated ownership and further growth

Michał Karski buys out the shares of Tomasz Siemek, CloudTeam’s long-standing co-founder. He becomes the majority shareholder and takes the helm of the company’s transformation. We continue to develop Credentium, our platform compliant with EDC and eIDAS. By now, we have trained more than 500,000 IT professionals.

AI Heroes – a record-breaking edition with Microsoft and Lenovo

The second edition of AI Heroes, a free nationwide AI training programme we run with Microsoft Poland and technology partner Lenovo, beats every target: 138,230 registrations against a goal of 50,000, and 68,958 active learners. We issue 53,590 European credentials through Credentium – more than 2.5 times the number we planned, and more than the total number of people trained in the entire 2025 edition. Each credential complies with the European Digital Credentials and Europass standards and carries a qualified eIDAS seal, so an employer or university can verify its authenticity technically. AI Heroes shows that European digital credentials work at the scale of tens of thousands of people, not just in pilots. In total, CloudTeam has now trained more than 600,000 people.
