Exam Prep: AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01)
A one-day AWS course that prepares participants for the AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) exam. The exam validates knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning (ML) and generative AI concepts and use cases. Participants work through all exam domains in turn, solve and review exam-style questions and examine use cases. Afterwards they know the scope of the exam, where their knowledge gaps are and how to approach the questions.

- Domain 1: Fundamentals of AI and ML – concepts, practical AI use cases, the ML development lifecycle
- Domain 2: Fundamentals of generative AI – capabilities, limitations and AWS technologies for building applications
- Domain 3: Applications of foundation models – design, prompt engineering, training and fine-tuning, evaluation
- Domain 4: Guidelines for responsible AI – transparent and explainable models
- Domain 5: Security, compliance and governance for AI solutions

Prerequisites
- No specific training is required
- Recommended before the exam: familiarity with core AWS services (e.g. Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon SageMaker AI) and their use cases
- Suggested up to 6 months of exposure to AI and ML technologies on AWS
- Familiarity with the AWS shared responsibility model for security and compliance
- Familiarity with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for securing and controlling access to resources
- Familiarity with the AWS global infrastructure: Regions, Availability Zones and edge locations
- Familiarity with AWS service pricing models
- Recommended but not required AWS courses, e.g. Fundamentals of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
