During the conference, Michał Karski, in his speech “Was it written by a student or a model? New approaches to assessment in the GenAI era in technical fields,” drew attention to the key challenges and directions of change in the approach to verifying learning outcomes.
The speech touched upon, among other things, the following topics:
- challenges related to verifying the originality of student work,
- adapting assessment methods to the reality of widespread availability of GenAI tools,
- the possibility of ethical use of AI as a support for the learning process, rather than a replacement for it.
