CloudTeam launches Credentium Wallet for iOS and Android

A new mobile app allows users to store, verify, and share digital educational and professional credentials in accordance with the European EDC standard. Credentium Wallet works offline, protects data with biometrics, and supports both smartphones and tablets.

CloudTeam has released Credentium Wallet, a mobile app for iOS and Android that turns digital micro-credentials (European Digital Credentials) into a secure, always-accessible portfolio of skills. The app responds to the growing need for reliable verification of qualifications in a digital environment, where paper diplomas and certificates are increasingly giving way to verifiable electronic documents.

One place for all credentials

Credentium Wallet collects user credentials in a single app, with a search engine, filters, and status indicators. Each document contains complete information: title, issuer, date of issue, validity period, and, in the case of educational achievements, learning outcomes, ECTS points, credit hours, and grading schemes. Users can immediately see which credentials are current and which have expired or been revoked.

Verification without creating an account

The built-in QR code scanner allows for immediate verification of the authenticity of any credential, without the need to register. The application performs a multi-step check: it checks the revocation status, expiration dates, the identity of the issuer, and the presence in the registry. The entire process is visualized with an animated sequence of steps and a clear verdict at the end. In practice, this means that a recruiter, university, or employer can confirm the authenticity of a document in a matter of seconds.

Sharing on the user’s terms

The certificate owner decides in what form and to whom they share it. They can choose between a public link that preserves privacy (only the title and issuer are visible, without personal data), a digitally signed PDF document, an EDC JSON-LD file for verification systems, and ready-made message templates for sending via SMS, email, or social media.

Offline, biometrics, and tablet support

The app was designed with an offline-first approach: all credentials remain available without an internet connection, and once connectivity is restored, the data automatically syncs in the background. Security is ensured by biometric locking (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint reader), encrypted local data storage, and secure session management with automatic token refresh.

Credentium Wallet automatically adapts the interface to larger tablet screens, offering a multi-column grid view and a two-column layout for credential details. The app is available in Polish and English, supports light and dark modes, and deep linking, which allows credentials to be opened directly from links in messages.

“Digital credentials are not the future, they are the present, but until now there has been no convenient tool on the user side. A graduate completing a course or postgraduate studies should have their achievements in their pocket, literally, and be able to show them to a recruiter in thirty seconds, rather than searching for a PDF in their email inbox.”

Credentium Wallet is fully compliant with the European Digital Credentials (EDC JSON-LD) standard and available for download on iOS and Android.
