On May 13–14, 2025, the 5th National Conference “University of the Future – University in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at Kocierz Resort & SPA. The event brought together participants, speakers, and partners to discuss topics related to the future of higher education in the age of artificial intelligence.
Two days of talks, presentations, and exchange of experiences
The conference consisted of two intensive days of meetings, presentations, and discussions devoted to the use of artificial intelligence at universities. Speakers included Pamela Krzypkowska (Ministry of Digital Affairs), Radoslaw Mackiewicz (Central IT Center), Michal Kanownik (Digital Poland Association), and Aleksandra Przegalinska (Kozminski University). The organizers also thanked the panelists and experts who participated in the discussions.
Key topics of the conference
The program addressed issues related to AI in teaching and research, future skills, personalization of educational paths, and modern AI education for universities. The strategies of universities in the context of the use of artificial intelligence by students and teaching staff were also discussed, as well as the approach of central units to the use of artificial intelligence in educational activities.
Program of meetings and workshops
On the first day, May 13, after registration and the start of the conference, there were presentations and two discussion panels devoted to, among other things, the approach of central institutions to AI in education and university strategies for the use of AI by students and staff. The schedule also included presentations on, among other things, solutions for universities, AI applications, hybrid learning, security, and research findings related to teachers’ readiness to use AI technology.
On the second day, May 14, workshops on preparing micro-credentials for universities were scheduled, followed by the conclusion of the conference.
